1 이스라엘 왕 여로보암 이십 칠년에 유다 왕 아마샤의 아들 아사랴가 왕이 되니
1 In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign .
2 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 륙세라 예루살렘에서 오십 이년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여골리야라 예루살렘 사람이더라
2 Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign , and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem . And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem .
3 아사랴가 그 부친 아마샤의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나
3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD , according to all that his father Amaziah had done
4 오직 산당은 제하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 오히려 그 산당에서 제사를 드리며 분향하였고
4 Save that the high places were not removed : the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places .
5 여호와께서 왕을 치셨으므로 그 죽는 날까지 문둥이가 되어 별궁에 거하고 왕자 요담이 궁중 일을 다스리며 국민을 치리하였더라
5 And the LORD smote the king , so that he was a leper unto the day of his death , and dwelt in a several house . And Jotham the king's son was over the house , judging the people of the land .
6 아사랴의 남은 사적과 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록 되지 아니하였느냐
6 And the rest of the acts of Azariah , and all that he did , are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah ?
7 아사랴가 그 열조와 함께 자매 다윗성에 그 열조와 함께 장사되고 그 아들 요담이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers
8 유다 왕 아사랴의 삼십 팔년에 여로보암의 아들 스가랴가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 여섯달을 치리하며
8 In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months .
9 그 열조의 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니한지라
9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD , as his fathers had done : he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
10 야베스의 아들 살룸이 저를 모반하여 백성 앞에서 쳐 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people , and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
11 스가랴의 남은 사적은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
12 여호와께서 예후에게 말씀하여 이르시기를 네 자손이 이스라엘 위를 이어 사대까지 이르리라 하신 그 말씀대로 과연 그렇게 되니라
12 This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu , saying , Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.
13 유다 왕 웃시야 삼십 구년에 야베스의 아들 살룸이 사마리아에서 왕이 되어 한 달을 치리하니라
13 Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah
14 가디의 아들 므나헴이 디르사에서부터 사마리아로 올라가서 야베스의 아들 살룸을 거기서 쳐 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
14 For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah , and came to Samaria , and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria , and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15 살룸의 남은 사적과 그 모반한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
15 And the rest of the acts of Shallum , and his conspiracy which he made , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
16 그 때에 므나헴이 디르사에서 와서 딥사와 그 가운데 있는 모든 사람과 그 사방을 쳤으니 이는 저희가 성문을 열지 아니하였음이라 그러므로 치고 그 가운데 아이 밴 부녀를 갈랐더라
16 Then Menahem smote Tiphsah , and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah : because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it
17 유다 왕 아사랴 삼십 구년에 가디의 아들 므나헴이 이스라엘 왕이 되어 사마리아에서 십년을 치리하며
17 In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel , and reigned ten years in Samaria .
18 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 평생 떠나지 아니하였더라
18 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD : he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
19 앗수르 왕 불이 와서 그 땅을 치려 하매 므나헴이 은 일천 달란트를 불에게 주어서 저로 자기를 도와주게 함으로 나라를 자기 손에 굳게 세우고자 하여
19 And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land : and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver , that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand .
20 그 은을 이스라엘 모든 큰 부자에게서 토색하여 각 사람에게 은 오십 세겔씩 내게 하여 앗수르 왕에게 주었더니 이에 앗수르 왕이 돌이키고 그 땅에 머물지 아니하였더라
20 And Menahem exacted the money of Israel , even of all the mighty men of wealth , of each man fifty shekels of silver , to give to the king of Assyria . So the king of Assyria turned back , and stayed not there in the land .
21 므나헴의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
21 And the rest of the acts of Menahem , and all that he did , are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel ?
22 므나헴이 그 열조와 함께 자고 그 아들 브가히야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers
23 유다 왕 아사랴 오십년에 므나헴의 아들 브가히야가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 이년을 치리하며
23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria , and reigned two years .
24 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니한지라
24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD : he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
25 그 장관 르말랴의 아들 베가가 반역하여 사마리아 왕궁 호위소에서 왕과 아르곱과 아리에를 죽이되 길르앗 사람 오십명으로 더불어 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되었더라
25 But Pekah the son of Remaliah , a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria , in the palace of the king's house , with Argob and Arieh , and with him fifty men of the Gileadites : and he killed him, and reigned in his room.
26 브가히야의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
26 And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah , and all that he did , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
27 유다 왕 아사랴 오십 이년에 르말랴의 아들 베가가 이스라엘 왕이 되어 사마리아에서 이십년을 치리하며
27 In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria , and reigned twenty years .
28 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하였더라
28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD : he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
29 이스라엘 왕 베가 때에 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀이 와서 이욘과 아벨벳 마아가와 야노아와 게데스와 하솔과 길르앗과 갈릴리와 납달리 온 땅을 취하고 그 백성을 사로잡아 앗수르로 옮겼더라
29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria , and took Ijon , and Abelbethmaachah , and Janoah , and Kedesh , and Hazor , and Gilead , and Galilee , all the land of Naphtali , and carried them captive to Assyria .
30 웃시야의 아들 요담 이십년에 엘라의 아들 호세아가 반역하여 르말랴의 아들 베가를 쳐서 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
30 And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah , and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah .
31 베가의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 이스라엘 왕 역대지략에 기록되니라
31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah , and all that he did , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
32 이스라엘 왕 르말랴의 아들 베가 이년에 유다 왕 웃시야의 아들 요담이 왕이 되니
32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign .
33 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세라 예루살렘에서 십 륙년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여루사라 사독의 딸이더라
33 Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign , and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem . And his mother's name was Jerusha , the daughter of Zadok .
34 요담이 그 부친 웃시야의 모든 행위대로 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하였으나
34 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD : he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done .
35 오직 산당을 제하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 오히려 그 산당에서 제사를 드리며 분향하였더라 요담이 여호와의 전의 윗문을 건축하니라
35 Howbeit the high places were not removed : the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places . He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD .
36 요담의 남은 사적과 그 모든 행한 일은 유다 왕 역대지략에 기록되지 아니하였느냐
36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham , and all that he did , are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah ?
37 그 때에 여호와께서 비로소 아람 왕 르신과 르말랴의 아들 베가를 보내어 유다를 치게 하셨더라
37 In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria , and Pekah the son of Remaliah .
38 요담이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 조상 다윗성에 열조와 함께 장사되고 그 아들 아하스가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
38 And Jotham slept with his fathers , and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father : and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

7 아사랴가 그 열조와 함께 자매 다윗성에 그 열조와 함께 장사되고 그 아들 요담이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers
8 유다 왕 아사랴의 삼십 팔년에 여로보암의 아들 스가랴가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 여섯달을 치리하며

10 야베스의 아들 살룸이 저를 모반하여 백성 앞에서 쳐 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되니라
10 And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people , and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

11 And the rest of the acts of Zachariah , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
12 여호와께서 예후에게 말씀하여 이르시기를 네 자손이 이스라엘 위를 이어 사대까지 이르리라 하신 그 말씀대로 과연 그렇게 되니라

19 앗수르 왕 불이 와서 그 땅을 치려 하매 므나헴이 은 일천 달란트를 불에게 주어서 저로 자기를 도와주게 함으로 나라를 자기 손에 굳게 세우고자 하여

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers
23 유다 왕 아사랴 오십년에 므나헴의 아들 브가히야가 사마리아에서 이스라엘 왕이 되어 이년을 치리하며
23 In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria , and reigned two years .
24 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니한지라
24 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD : he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
25 그 장관 르말랴의 아들 베가가 반역하여 사마리아 왕궁 호위소에서 왕과 아르곱과 아리에를 죽이되 길르앗 사람 오십명으로 더불어 죽이고 대신하여 왕이 되었더라
25 But Pekah the son of Remaliah , a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria , in the palace of the king's house , with Argob and Arieh , and with him fifty men of the Gileadites : and he killed him, and reigned in his room.

28 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 이스라엘로 범죄케 한 느밧의 아들 여로보암의 죄에서 떠나지 아니하였더라
28 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD : he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat , who made Israel to sin .
29 이스라엘 왕 베가 때에 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀이 와서 이욘과 아벨벳 마아가와 야노아와 게데스와 하솔과 길르앗과 갈릴리와 납달리 온 땅을 취하고 그 백성을 사로잡아 앗수르로 옮겼더라

31 And the rest of the acts of Pekah , and all that he did , behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel .
32 이스라엘 왕 르말랴의 아들 베가 이년에 유다 왕 웃시야의 아들 요담이 왕이 되니
32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign .
33 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오세라 예루살렘에서 십 륙년을 치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 여루사라 사독의 딸이더라
